Little Lime Punch® Hydrangea

SKU: 9815P Categories: ,

Description

This compact shrub with strong stems serves up color all season long; large, conical, lime green flower heads mature from the bottom up, to shades of white, light pink, then Hawaiian Punch red; the colors will mix on the same plant as it reblooms

Little Lime Punch® Hydrangea features bold conical lime green flowers with creamy white overtones and pink edges at the ends of the branches from early summer to mid fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has green deciduous foliage. The textured pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall colour.

Hardiness Zone

A hardiness zone is a geographic area defined as having a certain range of annual minimum temperature, a factor relevant to the survival of many plants. The Canadian Plant Hardiness Zone map (PHZ Map) system defines 9 zones by long-term average annual extreme minimum temperatures. With 0 having the coldest and 9 the warmest. The zone number designated to each plant species corresponds to the extreme minimum temperatures that plant can withstand. Any plant located in a lower zone then its designation has the potential of not surviving the cold months.
