Shredded Pine Mulch is best for garden beds, tree rings, and trails.  Shredded Pine Mulch provides a deep reddish brown colour that holds throughout the life of the product.  Shredded Pine Mulch provides nutrients and can lower pH as it decomposes which can assist with the growth of many plants.  Shredded Pine Mulch provides nutrients and organic matter to the soil as it decomposes, and promotes the development of soil microbes in the soil.  Shredded Pine Mulch can also be used as a soil amendment to reduce compaction, increase water holding capacity, and add organic matter directly to the soil.

Pick up of this product is available in 0.25 cubic yard increments

Delivery is available on quantities of 3 cubic yards or more.� Installation is not available on this product.

Hardiness Zone

A hardiness zone is a geographic area defined as having a certain range of annual minimum temperature, a factor relevant to the survival of many plants. The Canadian Plant Hardiness Zone map (PHZ Map) system defines 9 zones by long-term average annual extreme minimum temperatures. With 0 having the coldest and 9 the warmest. The zone number designated to each plant species corresponds to the extreme minimum temperatures that plant can withstand. Any plant located in a lower zone then its designation has the potential of not surviving the cold months.
